How easy is it to control - very easy! with the built in freeview channels and audio channels, its easy to browse them with the remote. The interface is very simple, with on-screen information about what you are watching, and what is next in the schedule. It also has audio description, found on most freeview programmes. Give yourself a couple of minute and you will be using the romote like you have had it all your life, even your mum could use it.

Connecting external devices

The Viera has 2 HDMI sockets, so you can connect a dvd, apple tv or games console. Two scart sockets which carry RGB and are Q-Link enabled, these are conveniently located at the back of the tv. You can also connect it to a sterio system via sterio audio socket. It lacks a digital audio output so it can't directly connect to a home cinema system, but if have dvd player or apple tv you can connect them directly up to your home cinema system. You can even connect your pc desktop, laptop, or mac directly to the tv and use it as a computer screen. The tv is very light, you can easily pick it up with one hand. It as a rotating pedestal so you can angle it to whatever you want. You can also have it wall mounted but you will need to buy a suitable bracket.
