Carphone warehouse offer quite a few pay as you go phones, but the cheapest one I could find is the Motorola w220. Given a 7 out of 10 by the users, so that’s not bad at all. At carphone warehouse you can buy the phone with orange network, t-mobile, vodaphone, o2 or virgin. So you can select the network that suits your requirements. Orange and T-mobile however offer the phone for the cheap price of £12.95, the other providers cost more. It will cost you an extra £10 if you buy airtime, but you don’t have to buy that when you purchase the phone.
The motorola w220 features fm radio, polyphonic ring tones, picture messaging and gprs. Its only available in black. The design as you can see is sleek minimalists a bit like an ipod touch - you don’t have to spend a fortune to get a half decent phone.
