Local Information for Whetstone

Whetstone is located in the borough of Barnet, in the area adjoining Totteridge. Whetstone is a small residential area that has maintained a friendly, welcoming village atmosphere.

In medieval times, Whetstone was an important staging post for stagecoaches. Today, it is just minutes from any of London’s famous sights such as the London Eye or the Royal Air Force Museum.

The Adelphi Fine Art Museum and the Bertold Gallery are both located nearby and offers exhibits of local artist as well as great English artwork.

Take a little time to shopping at the Spires Shopping Centre with many clothing and accessory shops to explore. There are also many small shops lining the streets around the centre selling a variety of ethnic goods.
