British Airways Partnership with American and Iberia Will Have Benefits for Executive Club

British Airways has said that they will let their Executive Club Members earn and burn their miles on transatlantic services that are operated by their alliance partners, pending their joint venture is shown the green light.  The members of the frequent flyer program for British Airways don’t earn miles currently for the transatlantic services that are operated by American Airlines, the carrier’s code-share partner.

British Airways Signs Joint Venture with American Airlines and Iberia

British Airways has signed a joint venture with American Airlines and Iberia, a Spanish carrier, on flights between Europe and North America, and they plan on expanding their international cooperation.  This relationship will be a benefit for passengers, as they will be provided with convenient, seamless, and easy travel for more international destinations with enhanced frequent flier benefits, improved schedules for flights, and better connections.  By enabling this one-world international alliance, the choices for customers will improve in order to effectively compete with other alliances around the world.
