David Nieper Ltd., a luxury nightwear and lingerie specialist company, observed a great need to provide stylish nightwear and daywear to large sized women.  The company noticed how the fashion industry caters to small size figures while ignoring the larger sizes.  Because of this oversight, David Nieper set out to include larger sizes in their luxury nightwear collection.

Knickerbox, the lingerie and underwear franchise based in London, has once again gone into bankruptcy.  After having gone into bankruptcy several times before, there were high hopes when the current Knickerbox owner, Gary Klesch bought the deteriorating chain two years previously.  At the time Klesch, who specializes in reviving failing businesses, optimistically predicted that he could turn the business around by investing whatever it took to get the franchise back on its feet again.  After several attempts, Klesch failed to do so and was forced to call in a Knickerbox administrator.
