Natwest Values a Bungalow at only 1 pound

A couple made the decision to find out how much their home was valued at, and they were told that the value of it was only 1 pound from Natwest. The reason they gave for this was because of coastal erosion, as they live close to the beach. In making the decision to get their home valued, Chris Cutting and Jane Archer thought it would be a good way to get the little extra money they needed for purchasing new land for their vehicle repairing business by releasing some collateral from the home. They found a Natwest valuer to value the home, which was built on the edge of a cliff in Norfolk, where it is now only 200 feet from the water. It use to be 1,300 feet from the water, and that is why the value of the property is so low now.
