Victoria and Pimlico, located just south west of central London, are best known for their stunning examples of Victorian architecture. With such a central location, it is no wonder that the area is popular with residents as well as tourists staying in its many small hotels.

Its most notable landmark is Tate Britain on Millbank. Its collection of art is extensive and includes exceptional collections of British painters such as Turner, Constable and Blake.

Previously owned by the Grosvenor family, the Dukes of Westminster, Pimlico, which contains Victoria rail and coach terminals, was developed in the 19th century by architect and builder Thomas Cubitt. While the West End had a poor reputation, the vast expansion of London made it ideal for development.

The area is especially easy to travel in using your minibus rental as it was developed using a grid system. Victoria and Pimlico are much loved for their charming leafy squares and white stucco-fronted grand residences.

Heavy bombing during World War II left the area in a state of disrepair however redevelopment in the Fifties and Sixties made this London neighbourhood fashionable once again. Its grand Victorian terraces have more recently been redeveloped into one and two room maisonettes and flats which have attracted the capital’s young, wealthy professionals.

What a shame and sadness about a legend like Michael Jackson. I was shocked last night as well as all his fans world wide about his death.

This guy was massive success over the past 45 years and changed the music industry for life. Please I would like to here your comments about Michael Jackson and your thoughts. I will post them on this blog. Please, make this a tribute to a pop legend by showing your kindness.

If it’s decent comedy you are after, then check out 30 Rock. The show is very popular in ratings, the only other show to beat this for comedy is “The Office”. The fourth season of 30 Rock is just about to start on NBC, but you can purchase the first three seasons of 30 Rock from Play.com on DVD.

The show is shot on the set of 30 Rockefeller Plaza. Tina Fey created the show and she also writes the sitcom as well. She is a work workaholic and is in charge the writers and actors for the show. She play’s the part of Liz Lemon in the show.

Alec Baldwin is also in the show and play’s Tina Fey’s boss. He does not like anything difficult, so relies on Tina to deal with the running of the show. The writers are also difficult to deal with as well as the actors, a very funny show.

Tracy Morgan has the largest part in the show. She play’s Tracy Jordan, a movie star, now playing in a TV Sitcom. She does not function normally and causes lot’s of problems and has to be constantly supervised.

Buy the DVD’s, you will love this sitcom. It is very easy to follow and you will be able to catch up to the fourth season very quickly if you have not watched any of the previous episodes. Buy 30 Rock now from Play.
